I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written with the intent of improving the operational aspects of the IETF drafts. Comments that are not addressed in last call may be included in AD reviews during the IESG review. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. Intended status: Standards Track Current IESG state: Submitted to IESG IANA State: IANA OK - No Actions Needed Updates RFC 5340 (OSPF for IPv6) and RFC 5838 (Support of Address Families in OSPFv3) Summary: The document defines a standard algorithm to back-off link-state IGP Shortest Path First (SPF) computations. The aim is to improve interoperability by reducing the probability and/or duration of transient forwarding loops during the IGP convergence. There are no relevant nit in the document. The document does not cause any issues related to operations and management. It has a clear language and looks ready for publication. Mehmet
