I have reviewed this document as part of the security directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG.  These comments were written primarily for the benefit of the security area directors.  Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments.

 

This draft captures a proposal to register with IANA the application/sql media type to be used for the Structured Query Language (SQL). It provides the necessary registration application for a media type [RFC6838].

 

This draft clearly addresses the IANA registration requirements for a new media type entry in the IANA registry.  After reviewing this document I do not have any additional security-related concerns.
