[07:54:44] <Mary Barnes> I seem to have lost network again - no audio/video
[07:55:09] Jacob Hoffman-andrews joins the room
[07:55:35] <richsalz@jabber.at> @meetcho any suggestions?
[07:55:45] Stefan Santesson joins the room
[07:55:52] <Mary Barnes> I have some video and no audio.  I will rejoin without video on my side.
[07:56:46] <Jonathan Lennox> Mary: what browser? In MMusic just now Paul had a similar issue when using Firefox, but Chrome was fine
[07:56:52] bemasc joins the room
[07:56:56] Simon Pietro Romano joins the room
[07:56:59] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-extensions-to-acme-for-email/
[07:57:00] <meetecho> Mary you can try restarting the audio stream withoout rejoining
[07:57:10] <meetecho> It's the small icon in the lowest right corner
[07:57:12] Mary Barnes leaves the room
[07:57:20] Alessandro Amirante joins the room
[07:57:22] Mary Barnes joins the room
[07:57:55] g.e.montenegro joins the room
[07:58:52] Mary Barnes leaves the room
[08:00:30] Mary BArnes joins the room
[08:00:46] <Mary BArnes> I am back.
[08:00:59] <richsalz@jabber.at> With an uppercase A no less
[08:00:59] <Jonathan Lennox> Do you have media?
[08:01:06] <Mary BArnes> Yes, I joined audio only.
[08:02:02] <Mary BArnes> I'm on Firefox.  I think the problem is that it saved setttings from previous session and I'd have to exit Chrome altogher to reset I think and I have way too many *important* things open ;)
[08:02:39] <Mary BArnes> @rich that's to distinguish me from the other barnes (he's *all* lowercase ;)
[08:03:14] <richsalz@jabber.at> I will henceforth think of you as Mary BA Barnes.
[08:04:07] <Jonathan Lennox> Like BA Baracus.
[08:06:11] <Mary BArnes> And, I'm gone again.  It's really pretty sucky that we still haven't figured out how to get good Internet in hotels.
[08:06:33] Mary BArnes leaves the room
[08:06:33] Mary Barnes joins the room
[08:10:13] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-acme-acme/
[08:20:27] <Jonathan Lennox> Mary: My theory is that most hotel networks were provisioned in the days when you had maybe a third of guests with just one laptop each, mostly not turned on; and now you have everybody with multiple always-connected devices.
[08:22:30] <Mary Barnes> Yeah, but there shouldn't be a boatload of people trying to use the network now. ISTM people that pick hotels should stress the network and not go to places when network is super crappy.
[08:23:16] <Jonathan Lennox> They can't test the radio coverage in all the rooms, though.  Are you on WiFi or Ethernet?
[08:23:59] Satoru Kanno joins the room
[08:25:04] Taiji Kimura joins the room
[08:31:21] <Mary Barnes> I am on Wifi cuz I'm in a new modern room. So, maybe we don't stay in hotels without that as backup.  We could give people the plugins for running over power lines.  I use that at home.
[08:32:02] <Jonathan Lennox> Whenever they mention a new order I think of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Order_(band) .
[08:32:59] Alessandro Amirante leaves the room
[08:33:44] =JeffH joins the room
[08:34:47] Mary Barnes leaves the room
[08:36:25] Mary Barnes joins the room
[08:37:10] kathleen.moriarty joins the room
[08:40:02] g.e.montenegro leaves the room
[08:40:14] <Jonathan Lennox> Mary, are you able to talk at this point?
[08:40:21] <Mary Barnes> so I've lost audio again.
[08:40:33] <richsalz@jabber.at> jonatahn's going first
[08:40:34] <bemasc> ok, we're reordering
[08:40:34] <Mary Barnes> So, no I can't talk now.  I will rejoin.
[08:40:44] <richsalz@jabber.at> k
[08:40:45] <Jonathan Lennox> peterson is going.
[08:40:53] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-acme-stir/
[08:41:10] <richsalz@jabber.at> Thank you Yoneya-san
[08:41:42] Mary Barnes leaves the room
[08:41:47] Mary Barnes joins the room
[08:41:48] g.e.montenegro joins the room
[08:42:39] <Mary Barnes> I'm back. Will put myself in queue.
[08:43:09] <bemasc> We see you in the queue.
[08:43:48] Jacob Hoffman-andrews leaves the room
[08:44:05] richard.barnes joins the room
[08:44:30] <Mary Barnes> so, I'll ping here when I want chairs to hit red button.  Although audio is really, really bad.
[08:44:49] <richsalz@jabber.at> just stay there unless someone lines up behind you.
[08:44:55] <bemasc> we hear you relatively clearly.  As jabber scribe, I can transcribe questions back to you.
[08:46:46] Jonathan Lennox leaves the room
[08:46:51] <Mary Barnes> I will be touching on what Jon is saying in my slides.
[08:46:51] Jonathan Lennox joins the room
[08:47:14] <Mary Barnes> ...also.
[08:47:20] <bemasc> (as always use prefix "mic:" if there's anything you'd like me to repeat)
[08:47:51] <Mary Barnes> My suggestion is that we hold all except clarifying questions until I run through mine.
[08:47:58] <richsalz@jabber.at> yes
[08:48:07] <richard.barnes> Nobody at the mic yet
[08:48:07] <richsalz@jabber.at> we will do taht
[08:50:08] <richsalz@jabber.at> come back!
[08:50:16] <Mary Barnes> I'm trying.
[08:50:24] <richsalz@jabber.at> k
[08:51:14] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-acme-token-identifier-and-challenges/
[08:51:34] <richsalz@jabber.at> we're on the overview page, ready when you are
[08:52:29] <bemasc> We lost audio from you
[08:52:40] <Mary Barnes> I think I've lost audio again
[08:52:45] <richsalz@jabber.at> yes you did
[08:52:48] <richsalz@jabber.at> damng
[08:53:36] <bemasc> (sound is occasionally garbled; it might help to speak slowly)
[08:54:21] <richard.barnes> Lost you again
[08:54:23] <=JeffH> u gone again…
[08:54:36] <richsalz@jabber.at> jon is talking to your slide right now
[08:55:00] <Mary Barnes> This royally sucks.
[08:55:07] <richsalz@jabber.at> yeah.  frustrating.  sorry.
[08:55:08] <bemasc> :(
[08:55:44] <Mary Barnes> I don't have a Tyvek suit and 3M mask to come to meeting room.
[08:56:02] <richsalz@jabber.at> That would be terrifying.  Sorry.
[08:56:13] <Mary Barnes> I give up... I'm putting "Whatever..." ribbon on my badge right now.
[08:56:47] <Mary Barnes> IF someone can suggest that one of my docs is generic!
[08:56:53] <Mary Barnes> Other is shaken specific.
[08:56:59] <Jonathan Lennox> Is there somewhere you could get onto the IETF network proper that's allergy-safe?
[08:57:07] <Jonathan Lennox> Some other meeting room or lounge?
[08:57:28] <Mary Barnes> The entity code is NOT predefined in mtygeneric document.
[08:57:38] <Mary Barnes> There is a typo that still has service provider code.
[08:57:48] <richsalz@jabber.at> Ben I think Mary wants her last comment channeled
[08:59:43] <Mary Barnes> YEs, pre-association is due to PA only supportig specific CAs.
[08:59:54] <Mary Barnes> So perhaps we do need to remove that restriction.
[09:00:15] <bemasc> (we hear you well)
[09:02:18] <Mary Barnes> Thanks Richard!
[09:02:36] g.e.montenegro leaves the room
[09:06:09] <Mary Barnes> SPC doesn't care about number space.
[09:07:07] <bemasc> would you like that echoed?
[09:07:10] <Mary Barnes> SPC and TNs are quite distinct in mechanisms for authoritzation
[09:07:33] <Mary Barnes> How things are authorized is totally different
[09:07:42] <bemasc> Shall I repeat this to the room?
[09:08:15] <Mary Barnes> That's okay...I'll argue outside.  I think folks did miss that key point
[09:08:20] <bemasc> ok
[09:08:54] <Mary Barnes> You are welcome....
[09:09:16] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-acme-star/
[09:09:50] <richsalz@jabber.at> I agree that most folks in the room are not very familiar with STIR stuff.
[09:10:05] ted.h joins the room
[09:10:23] <richsalz@jabber.at> I am excited by the possibility of what a joint "mostly generic" challenge could enable.
[09:11:15] <richsalz@jabber.at> But as Ted pointed out, and I think you are explicit, it's not like defining a base "Object" challenge parent type for doing anything.  Various parties will have domain specific knowledge that they will use/leverage/need.
[09:12:38] <richard.barnes> richsalz: I think there’s a coherent framework here.  It’s not just yet another registry branch point :)
[09:13:11] <richsalz@jabber.at> I think so too.  Proof will be in the writing.
[09:13:14] <richsalz@jabber.at> But even if it's
[09:13:19] <richsalz@jabber.at> But even if it's
[09:13:38] <richsalz@jabber.at> Arg.  But even if it's "just" all SIP STIR phone use-cases that's pretty darn good
[09:17:58] Federico Santandrea leaves the room
[09:20:45] <Yoshiro Yoneya> https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/100/materials/slides-100-acme-acme-ip/
