[19:43:57] <mcr-soho> but, I think we have made a lot of progress on the questions. I think we have answered 1,5,6,7,8 clearly.  I don't think I understood 3/4 (How many domains, levels/hierarchy). Someone in chat care to educate me?
[19:44:35] Juan Janczuk joins the room
[19:45:15] <Pierre Peloso> joining the queue
[19:46:08] <mcr-soho> Pierre: here in Ottawa, like in Siberia, it's COLD and we have lots of WET SNOW.  God's INTENT is for us to SUFFER.

[20:04:49] <Pierre Peloso> I was about to try providing an answer
[20:05:14] <Toerless Eckert> pierra: feel free to jump to the mike as well

[20:05:41] <Toerless Eckert> i am just a bit novice with managing the remote speaker queue, but i'll get it figured out ;-)
[20:05:49] <Pierre Peloso> I was trying to back laurent loss of connectivty
[20:07:00] Laurent Ciavaglia leaves the room
[20:07:36] Laurent Ciavaglia joins the room
[20:08:36] Juan Janczuk leaves the room
[20:08:59] Juan Janczuk joins the room
[20:09:26] <Laurent Ciavaglia> For Jeferson: I partly heard your question. For the measurement/monitoring, this is the input part. Then the AF could format this information in the common/negotiated form before sending it out to other AFs or the knowledge repositories.
[20:10:02] <Laurent Ciavaglia> Let's discuss this on the list if you wish (because I have not heard completely the question)
[20:10:45] <mcr-soho> chairs: do we have some coordination occuring with SUPA? (Toerless Eckert)
[20:12:17] <mcr-soho> oh, "mandate" I like that word.
[20:13:51] Juan Janczuk leaves the room
[20:14:55] <Toerless Eckert> mcr: no, not yet, given how intent is not yet on our charter, but would like to know what opinions are re. the coordination that you folks would find useful
[20:15:40] Juan Janczuk joins the room
[20:16:16] <mcr-soho> We are talking a *LOT* about Intent. It seems that we could write a requirement document as this point (or at least a set of slides), and we could at least throw that over the wall and see what SUPA thinks about this.  I seem to still be on the SUPA list, but it has been very quiet I guess. I thought maybe I had unsubscribed. Or maybe I'm confused here.
[20:16:31] <mcr-soho> I'm unclear how much (if any) progress SUPA is making...
[20:17:30] <Laurent Ciavaglia> to MCR: SUPA had active discussion on the info model draft and architecture/fwk recently.
[20:18:00] <Laurent Ciavaglia> Also, Intent has been "excluded" from SUPA charter.
[20:18:29] <mcr-soho> Laurent: okay, so maybe I'm not really on the list anymore (suits me fine... for now). let me go find my IMAP client.
[20:18:34] <Laurent Ciavaglia> For the coordination: John and Joel are active in ANIMA and SUPA. I am also following both groups discussions
[20:18:46] <mcr-soho> Intent has been excluded huh... Yes, I was going to suggest Joel be our stuckee :-)
[20:19:04] <Brian Carpenter> I'd rather model an imperative as a negotiation semantic
[20:19:33] <mcr-soho> Brian: not comprehending that statement.
[20:19:37] <Laurent Ciavaglia> Intent was also discussed at the SDN RG meeting, NMRG plans to start a thread from a NM / cross-technology viewpoint
[20:19:40] Helen Chen leaves the room
[20:21:01] <Brian Carpenter> @mcr: an objective can convey anything, including an imperative command. So we don't need a new message type for each new type of interaction between ASAs
[20:21:20] <Laurent Ciavaglia> to MCR: starting a requirement, concept definitions document would be a good move and help to synthetize the high amount of info exchange on intent in ANIMA in past weeks ;)
[20:22:34] <mcr-soho> yeah! RUNNING CODE.
[20:23:00] <Laurent Ciavaglia> @Brian on the objective: correct, but some interactions must be specified and supported by all ASAs (e.g. lifecycle related ones)
[20:23:19] <Laurent Ciavaglia> this cannot be left open for implementers preferences
[20:23:42] Lorenzo Miniero leaves the room
[20:23:52] <mcr-soho> so, is the case that all WG have made Intent out of scope ? :-)
[20:23:56] mcr-soho leaves the room
[20:23:58] <Pierre Peloso> Bye Bye
[20:24:02] Pierre Peloso leaves the room
