[14:06:45] <Brian Carpenter> Laurent Ciavaglia already on slide 4
[14:11:07] <Brian Carpenter> slide 5
[14:13:24] <Brian Carpenter> slide 6
[14:16:44] <Michael Behringer> audio from chair mic is terrible...

[14:19:14] Michael Behringer joins the room
[14:21:22] <Michael Behringer> Thanks Brian! At the moment it´s actually ok
[14:28:52] <Brian Carpenter> slide 7
[14:31:17] <Michael Behringer> In my opinion, if we want to be successful with ASAs, we MUST find someone who wants to write a real autonomic function. Then we´ll learn what is really needed. So our focus should be to find a real user!
[14:35:51] <Brian Carpenter> Laurent speaking
[14:37:52] max pritikin joins the room
[14:39:08] <Brian Carpenter> Laurent again
[14:44:21] max.pritikin joins the room

[14:46:48] <max.pritikin> what is a "soft" infrastructure?
[14:47:08] <Brian Carpenter> is that for the microphone?
[14:47:39] <max.pritikin> no, sorry. i'd like a definition if its a term i should know but don't need to interrupt.
[14:48:08] <max.pritikin> thanks :)
[14:51:02] <max.pritikin> "software defined" or "overlay" or other terms for virtualized from the hardware layer. thank you.
I think the argument is that this "softness" meets some of the requirements that drive anima and therefore is an overlap.
[14:54:15] <Brian Carpenter> draft-du-anima-an-intent, Laurent again
[14:55:52] <Brian Carpenter> Now on (unnumbered) slide 4
[14:57:52] <Brian Carpenter> slide 5
[14:58:18] <Brian Carpenter> @max: yes, I think "soft" just means "virtual". I'm not too keen on inserting layers between the ACP and the hardware
[14:58:28] <Brian Carpenter> slide 6
