[11:16:38] <stpeter> Martin Thomson: you're in a different room, I take it?
[11:16:59] <Martin Thomson> Yes, I am dealing with some messes that I made in the past in ecrit
[11:17:06] <Martin Thomson> I'm just next door
[11:17:17] <stpeter> yes
[11:17:19] <alexey.melnikov> As a side note: Mux extension is like BEEP (multiple channels, flow control).
[11:17:51] <Martin Thomson> beep flow control sucks because the window adaptation is largely undefined, so you actually end up with very poor performance
[11:33:42] <armanjusup> they can also contain quite larger payload
[11:35:03] <Martin Thomson> ...I wonder, does the flow control in WS-MUX have a fix for silly window syndrome?
[11:35:53] <Martin Thomson> because the BEEP implementations I saw were rife with it
[11:42:05] frodek leaves the room
[11:43:13] <Martin Thomson> ok, I just read it, SWS is a problem with MUX
[11:44:50] <stpeter> SWS?
[11:44:57] <stpeter> oh, "silly window syndrome"
[11:46:13] <armanjusup> Application should be able to request exclusive use of channel
