[00:33:21] <Justin Richer> We're getting started
[00:33:29] <Sarah Squire> Loud and clear
[00:33:31] <William Denniss> Yes, everything is good.

[00:53:50] <William Denniss> +1
[00:54:42] <William Denniss> Regarding the long poll, agree with Justin that it's basically server implementation detail, the token endpoint responses would be the same with short or long polling.

[01:08:06] <William Denniss> Definitely valuable for authorization servers to publish their metadata in a machine readable format in a standardized way.

[01:19:43] <William Denniss> If you allow people to bring their own OAuth server (which is getting common in the API economy), how can they prove the connection between their authorization and token endpoints to prevent registration of mix-matched endpoints (where they register someone else's authorization endpoint and their token endpoint)?
[01:20:28] <William Denniss> Allowing the authorization server to declare the correct token endpoint programmatically is one way to solve this, and this spec will get us there.
[01:21:03] <Justin Richer> +1 to William's point
[01:26:55] <William Denniss> +1 to continue work on the authorization server metadata.
[01:29:12] <Justin Richer> I'll note any choices in chat to make sure Hannes counts them appropriately
[01:29:13] DanYork joins the room
[01:29:21] <Justin Richer> People in the room please don't vote in chat :-P
[01:29:26] <William Denniss> *raised hand*
[01:31:08] <William Denniss> -1 for combined AS/RS doc
[01:34:27] <William Denniss> +1 we are deploying currently.
[01:35:31] <William Denniss> +1 we plan to.
[01:35:50] <William Denniss> we plan to use metadata with pure OAuth.
[01:36:45] <Justin Richer> I got scolded for yelling at Tony to use the mic. The sacrifices I make for you guys.
[01:37:48] <William Denniss> Thanks Justin. Greatly appreciate asking people to use the mic!
[01:42:09] <William Denniss> Hand is raised for AS metadata deployment.
[01:42:49] <William Denniss> Not planning to have RS metadata at present.
[01:43:36] <Justin Richer> @William Denniss Got it, you're counted appropriately in the numbers
[01:44:04] <William Denniss> Thank you kindly.
