Q.5/13 would like to inform the IETF PWE3 Working Group of our progress in the area of TDM MPLS and Voice services network interworking. We are pleased to inform you that:
1. We made significant progress on draft new Recommendation Y.tdmpls (TDM-MPLS network interworking). We intend to send this draft for consent (initial approval process)
2. More progress was made on draft new Recommendation Y.vsmpls (Voice services over MPLS network interworking-user plane interworking).
The updated draft version of TDM-MPLS network interworking Recommendation can be found at the following URL.

Q.5/13 also would like to inform you that during our editing of the Y.tdmpls, we felt that processing of the sequence number at the TDM-MPLS IWF requires further investigation. We intend to discuss this topic extensively at our next meeting.
We would appreciate letting us know of your progress in these areas.
Q.5/13 will meet again in Geneva, from 3 to 12 February 2004.
