Http-use -- Discussion and review of IETF protocols that use HTTP and related Web technologies (sometimes called "RESTful" protocols)

About Http-use
English (USA)

This list is focused on best practices and patterns of use, and giving constructive feedback to IETF work that leverages the Web stack of technologies, with an emphasis on appropriate use of HTTP, but also including concepts like URLs, Web Linking, JSON, XML, etc.

Discussion of new HTTP extensions is off-topic; see the ietf-http-wg@w3.org mailing list. Likewise, discussion of non-IETF protocols based upon HTTP are off-topic (although they may benefit from reviewing the discussion here).
