QOS_INBAND -- Discussion of in-band methods for Quality-of-service signaling

About QOS_INBAND
English (USA)

Mailing list for the discussion of in-band signaling mechanisms for QoS requests. The emergence of high-bandwidth, tight-latency-requirement services such as VOIP and IPTV is forcing us to consider provisioning bandwidth for these flows and mechanisms to provide latency guarantees. The volume of flows and need to process requests quickly leads us to consider in-band solutions.
