The avt mailing is for discussion of the business of the IETF Audio/Video Transport Core Maintenance WG. Questions about the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) and comments on Internet-Drafts under discussion in the working group are welcome. Posts by non-subscribers are welcome, but to aid in spam filtering, such posts are held for approval by the list administrators. Please DO NOT subscribe local reflectors to this list; instead have all the interested recipients subscribe individually so that any posts they make will be automatically accepted rather than being held for approval. For anyone wishing to receive mail from this list at one address but post from another, PLEASE subscribe both addresses via this web page. Then, after the subscriptions are confirmed via email, go back to this web page, enter the post-only address next to the "Edit Options" button at the bottom of the page, and click that button. On the options page, click the "Disable mail delivery" checkbox, enter the password that you entered for the post-only address into the box at the bottom of the page, and click "Submit My Changes". Using avt
To post a message to all the list members, send email to avt@ietf.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to avt
Subscribe to avt by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
