The IETF Newcomer's Quick Connections is a simple and effective way for a new attendee to be introduced to a variety of experienced IETF participants. These individuals are often working group (WG) chairs and they can help you get more involved in your areas of interest or suggest people you should try to meet. At the very least, you will meet 5-10 friendly, helpful, experienced IETF individuals that you can stop in the hallways during the week to ask further questions. You will speed 5-7 minutes talking to one experienced IETFer before moving on to another person.
