- That avoids tight switched path loops
- And minimizes the damage to "innocent" traffic
- Which works well with EIGRP, or RIP, or OSPF or anything else
- Which also avoids multicast loops
- Whether the multicast routing protocol is DVMRP or PIM or anything else
