• Some ugly choices

• Each file may have one of the two types

• Each file may have one of each of the two types

• Union of the two languages

• May have ACL’s that are not valid for either NT or POSIX

• Some clients not understand such ACL’s

• Some servers may have trouble

• What about user-mode servers?
