#281: URL as key to LS DB

• Bis-05 says that you use the entire URL as the key to store registration info in the Location Service DB

  • I.e., To field URL

• This URL is matched, using URL equality, against Request-URI of requests for routing

• Problem

  • R-URI may have port/maddr/transport/ttl
  • These would not have been in To of REGISTER
  • Thus, they don’t have URL equality
  • 404 is getting sent by proxies

• Proposal

  • Make key a matter of local policy
  • Need only be consistent between registrar and proxy
  • Document guidelines
