History in 3 bullets Original Architecture document had a section on ipfix middleboxes that specified what to fields to export when middleboxes functions (NAT, Firewall, VPN, etc) where performed by the Ipfix Exporter. It was moved to the Applicability Draft because some people viewed it as in the wrong document The consensus amongst the editors now is that it does not belong in the applicability draft since it proposes a specific IPFIX behavior. |
