L2TPv3 Update draft-l2tpext-l2tp-base-08.txt submitted on the deadline for this meeting was incorrect. The version that was intended to be -08 was sent to the list as soon as the error was noticed, and will appear at -09 after the meeting. This version includes a number of fixes and clarifications based on AD feedback. Lengthy details have been sent to the list. Most significant change was the extension of Control Connection Authentication to include the body of control messages, vs. simply portions of a control message. This was initially driven by concern over control messages being sent over IP without an integrity check over the body of the message. |
