Mailing List Comments Questions about using IKE for virtual links and point-to-point links. Clarification: If manual keying is secure enough for broadcast links, it should be secure enough for virtual links and P2P links too. So lets keep it simple. Concerns about need/means to inform upper layer/peer about the drop of packet due to MISMATCH in the authentication/confidentiality procedures. Question: Is there a need ?
