Annual Open Edu Team Meeting Chaired by: Margaret Wasserman and Avri Doria Notes: Avri Doria After reviewing and approving the agenda, Margaret did a review of the new charter. One of the requirements for the Edu Team is to hold open meeting at least once a year. the purpose is to review the work the Edu team has been doing and to solicit comments on current and future class offereings. The guidance on this class is that are not full technical training but rather are on topics that would help IETF particpants do better. These classes focus on general technical issues that have a wide audience. If a WG or even an Area wishes to offere a class in some specific technilogy, then that class should be offered by the Area of WG itself rather then by the Edu Team. There was a discussion of a new class for IETF68. The decision was to add a class on: What should spec writers know about Ipv6 The Planned class schedule for IETF68 was also discussed. The schedule planned for IETF68 is: Time: 13:00 - 14:45 Newcomers' Training Writing an RFC: The Definitive Guide by the RFC Editor What should spec writers know about 1pv6 Time: 15:00 - 16:45 Bringing New Work to the IETF Working Group Leadership Tutorial Security Tutorial
