Transport Subsystem Issue#3 How does a Transport Model know whether a message is a notification or request/response? Can a transport model reuse a session opened to send request/responses to send notifications? The transport model doesn’t know the operation used in the message, so cannot direct notifications to a notification-session, and requests to a request session, and ASIs do not support session-selection. Proposal: It doesn’t; remove all direct and indirect references to pduType from Transport Subsystem. |
