Motivation The main goals for this study are to evaluate different mechanisms considered for the L3 transport of IEEE 802.21 protocol messages in order to reveal useful insights based on observed performance trends. Simulation and analytical results are obtained for L3 transport of MIH messages using TCP and UDP for different MIH parameters and configuration settings. |
