The chairs presented the current status of the WG and the new
milestones that had been recently added to the charter.

Topic: NAT Traversal Design Team Status Update

Ari is the new editor of the draft. He presented a few open
issues. There following are the conclusions reached on some of those
open issues.

o Pacing of connectivity checks. The conclusion was not to change the
ICE default values.

o ICE-controlled flag. The conclusion was that there WG needs to think
more about this.

o Teredo. The conclusion was that the WG will work on ICE. The RG will
look into Teredo for IPv6.


Topic: Demonstration of a HIP-ICE Implementation

Topic: Moving a Set of Experimental Specs to the Proposed Standard Level

There was interest in the WG. Having proposed standard specs will be
useful for protocols using HIP. The WG will do this at some
point. However, the WG will need to finish some of its current WG
items before.
