Summary:

* The meeting followed the planned agenda:
     + lis-discovery
     + HELD Identity extensions
     + HELD Context management extensions
     + Dereferencing

* Lis-Discovery

There was not a lot of controversy around the content of this draft. The
discussion focused on noting that explaining the tradeoffs of different
mechanisms was needed, and discussion of adding at least one more mechnism
based on anycast.

James Winterbottom will add an operational consideration section discussing the
ramifications of each of the different mechanisms the draft details.  We will
solicit early operator feedback on the mechanisms in this draft (Guy Caron
volunteered to provide feedback).  We will investigate adding the use of
anycast as a mechanism for discovery to this draft.  

* Identity Extensions

This draft will be refined to include criterea on where the extensions it
discusses can and can not safely be used, with examples of such environments.
Some examples of places were it could be made safe include single
administrative domains and architectures where explicit trust relationships
extend into another domain. The discussion in the room indicated it would be
reasonable to use this extension to help realize OBO in environments where you
can provide an equivalent story to the common-policy and derivatives policy
sets.
  
* Context Management Extensions

James Winterbottom will revise the draft to use common-policy rules for as many
of the policies the current document associates with references as possible.

* Dereferencing

James Winterbottom will revise the draft to clearly call out when it assumes
possession of a URI implies consent for the holder to receive LI. The use of
GET/PUT will be clarified.  Mary Barnes will follow-up with Lisa to see if we
need something like a heldr: URI or if we can distinguish dereferences from
some other artifact in the URI.
