SIEVE WG minutes - San Francisco, Mar. 2009

Intro from chairs wrt document status: five RFCs published, two in editor queue, one IESG processing. Various WGLCs done. Alexey to become AD so new co-chair required - volunteers asked for.

Discussion of mime loops: GenART/SecDir done. Comment on Original-From - probably OK but should discuss interaction with editheader. Ned's comments: consensus in room was to adopt all suggested changes.

Discussion of notary: new draft to come out with new deliver-by option. May need short WGLC to properly review this.

Discussion of notify-sip: new draft out. Request for SIP expert review. Lisa suggests Cullen.

Discussion of xml-in-sieve: comments from last reviews addresses. XML directorate should review but Lisa says we don't need to block on that. Will go to IESG next.

Discussion of include: much discussion about discard/stop behavior, loop/recursion, how to pass variables. Proposal for a "call" extension - keep include as-is and do call later.

Discussion of RegEx: Ned/Jeffrey to co-author. Question is what choice of RegEx syntax to use. Suggestions on possibilities to list for further discussion.

EAI issues: just keep an eye on EAI group.

Benefits document: still interest in doing this but not urgent.
