IETF 77, RMT WG Minutes Monday, 22 March 2010 =========================== WG Updates - Brian Adamson ========================== see http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/10mar/slides/rmt-0.pdf Chairs to ask the AD to resolve the pending LCT errata into "Hold for Document Update". The WG thanks the outgoing AD (Magnus Westerlund) and the incoming one (David Harrington). Flute - draft-ietf-rmt-flute-revised-07 - Vincent Roca ======================================================= see http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/10mar/slides/rmt-2.pdf Timeline for New Version? Very soon (probably within the week). RaptorQ - draft-ietf-rmt-bb-fec-raptorq-02 - Mike Luby ====================================================== see http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/10mar/slides/rmt-1.pdf Chairs to ask if it's OK to go for WG last call after Mike updates the draft. General Discussion ================== Lorenzo: in preparation for closing the WG we need to establish a procedure to create new FEC Encoding IDs (RFC5052 requires IETF Consensus). Magnus suggested to use the AD-Sponsor procedure for this. There seemed to be WG consensus. Magnus: will pull back draft-mehta-rmt-flute-sdp-05 (SDP specification for Flute) from the RFC editor queue. The current specs does not meet the requirements of the new flute spec, specifically section 6. The WG will make the needed modifications, issue cross-WG last-call with MMUSIC and then ask the AD to resubmit the document to the IESG. New editors for this document are needed. Lorenzo to post a call for editors to the list.
