draft-pascual-bfcpbis-bfcp-websocket-00 - Victor Pascual Avila
- WebSocket as a Transport for BFCP
- Four supporters of this work in the room
  - Gonzalo C: There is industry need for this. There needs to be interop. Should be done here, it’s fine and it’s needed.
  - Xavier Marjou: There has already been an implementation (by one of the co-authors).
  - Victor: customers already playing with this.
  - Mary: Can’t see any reason not to do this, should be able to be done quickly, let’s put a deadline and get it done.
  - Christer: Would read and review.
 - Charles: outside charter, do we extend charter? Would it be better to have group doing protocol ‘x’ over WebSockets for various values of ‘x’?
  - Gonzalo C: no problem to extend WG if work makes sense
  - Gonzalo S: we’re well into doing docs like this elsewhere (SIP etc).
 - Keith summarizing Charles/Victor discussion: Needs to be clear this is BFCP over reliable transport that’s put over WebSocket.
- Consensus in room to adopt draft for new milestone to be added to charter
