15:30 - TURN server discovery
draft-ietf-tram-turn-server-discovery-01
Presenter: Dan or Adam (?)
Duration: 10 minutes
- No objection to removing the "reverse lookup your IP address" discovery method.
- No objection to adding mDNS support. Strong support from Adam Roach.
15:40 - STUN bis
draft-ietf-tram-stunbis-02
Presenter: Marc Petit-Huguenin
Duration: 40 minutes
- ALTERNATE-DOMAIN|SERVER: Server sends both. Client uses IP address but also resolves and checks the domain.
- Dan Wing wants to remove support for DANE to keep things simple.
- No objection to the proposal for preventing nonce reuse.
- Whether MI and/or MI2 are included is going to be usage-dependent. For ICE it can be signalled.
- No objection to the proposal about key derivation function. Strong support to align with HTTP auth.
- Consensus that message fragmentation is to be avoided when possible but is not completely avoidable. No need to 100% solve the problem with SCTP.
- Consensus to remove SCTP support.
- Test vectors: reference RFC 5769, and add new vectors for MI2 and password hashing algorithms.
