- Should BFD config have per protocol intervals

Jacob: Do not feel I have the information to review this. A description of
how these options enable certain use cases in the network?

Michael : In general in YANG you import things. A: this is an import, question
is how you use it.

Michael: So are you changing the BFD model as otherwise it would simply be
available.

Jacob: Be useful to make this optional.

Stig: We should look at other models like OSPF to see how they use BFD.

Michael: So this should be solved by BFD, so we to jeff.

Yeong: Between the two device OSPF can determine peers. It is the interval
and other attributes but multiple protocols can share a BFD session.
A: They may not want not want to share.

- Should timer value have infinity and no expiry?

Stig: seems odd to me

Eric Gray: If you had a value of zero you assign it some semantic.

- YANG doctor review.

o Structure OK, can be mapped to various implementations.

o Need to complete terminology section

o Better descriptions required.

Toerless: Is there an independent specification for PIM BFD.
A: Yes. That I why we put it there.

Toerless: No ref in the doc(?)

Dependencies, none are blocking.

Stig: Had one last call, would have liked to have seen more comments. Need
one more LC, and need more vendors and operators looking at this.

Stig: Work done with the YANG team. SO implemented by several vendors.

No one admits to reading it. Need to take to the list. Due diligence done.
Some 5 vendors are interested.

Framework for Computed Multicast

Jake Holland: Does it cover congestion control?

Ice: Is there a need for another tree building protocol, not just segment
routing?

Erik Grey: general question, are we willing to recharter for this?

Alvaro: First decide if want to adopt it, then consider recharter
don't let current charter stop us
