Not all spelling/language related issues will be addressed, the goal is to send to the IESG. Ana closed all tickets last week, except 3 (15, 30, 31). All the information that tech documents must provide will be indicated; ticket still open to review This becomes appendix D, WG asked to recheck Ana: ticket #30 text and FSM do not exactly match each other. Can we remove the condition (local bitmap == received bitmap)? Dominique: yes, it can be removed Ana: ticket #31: we go to "ERROR", but the action is missing Dominique: when investigating this, pay attention to figure numbering (the new versions on github have extra figures compared to published document, so figure numbers are shifted) Dominique [going through the closed tickets, and related explanations] Dominique: #12, became irrelevant after single-padding addition DB: added a figure illustrating C/D and F/R including padding operations DB: #20, removed left arrow, only keep the right one (L2 Word boundary) DB: #21, SCHC ACK "bump", due to presence of the C bit in the last SCHC ACK. Resolution: last window has same maximum number of frags, but tech-specific documents may revert that. Text on this also in Appendix D. DB: #22, clarified that F/R is optional (i.e. to be used if needed) DB: #23, variable L2 PDU sizes. Resolution: the SCHC draft states that L2 MTU is assumed not to vary while a packet is fragmented and transmitted.Abort the transmission, if there is any change in L2MTU while fragmentation is ongoing. DB: #24, what if DTag not present? Resolution: made it explicitly clear in Section 7.2. DB: #25, rule tables not synhronized? Out of scope for the SCHC draft. DB: #26, matching SCHC ACKs and SCHC Fragments? Instead of keeping extra state, the Resolution is: same Rule ID needs to be used DB: #28, was an editing mistake. Now solved. DB: Questions? Pascal: I'll be shepherding. As soon as you post the draft, I'll start the process and ask about awareness of IPRs that apply to this draft. Alexander: will replace Dominique with Pascal as shepherd on the Datatracker Sothy: Ask why Multi-Rat is being there if it is not used? Dominique: This was an input from Edgar Ramos and the ticket was captured this way. Anyway, the underlying question (L2 PDU size that is not constant through fragmented SCHC Packet transmission) stays. For example, this shows up when LoRaWAN switches datarate (Adaptative Data Rate) which changes the max L2 PDU size. Maybe "multi-RAT" is not relevant in the ticket, but the ticket still stays. Alex: When is the reviews deadline date? Pascal: We can make another last call, but what I want is to review CoAP draft. SCHC IP/UDP is done, we publish, it is too late. New reviewers are for SCHC CoAP not SCHC IP/UDP, for monday a final review to make the publication * [17:50] SCHC / OSCORE - Laurent + Ricardo [10min] Ricardo presents the slides on SCHC compression applied to OSCORE Laurent: OSCORE adds 10 bytes to a regular message (after SCHC compression) Alexander: what kind of protection? Ricardo: AES-CCM for the encryption Laurent: implementation is in Python Pascal: great work, but appears it doesn't change the CoAP draft...? Pascal: I don't think ADs will like the idea of having a special draft just for OSCORE Ana: if we add it, we can get more reviewers from CoRE Ricardo: have been working on a document describing this (could be published in 2 days) Alexander: the priority would be to add this to the CoAP draft. Pascal: you could also add content in an annex, as an example. Happy if it can be added to the draft by Monday Laurent: We need a special processing for the OSCORE option since it must splitted in 2 parts to use MSB Pascal: Laurent & Dominique please publish the last version of the SCHC IP/UDP draft during this weekend, not time to make reviews. For Monday Pascal starts sending the IPR mail. * [18:00] AOB [ 0min]
