Ground transportation information to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO)
Pictorial guide to arriving at the Orlando International Airport (MCO). International arrivals on the left side of the screen, domestic arrivals on the right.
The Orlando International Airport has a large atrium area just outside of the gates 60-129 security (before descending to lower levels (A or B) for baggage claim) which is a natural meeting place for those who would like to meet up and travel together to the IETF 86 meeting venue. There is a fountain in the middle of the atrium area. For those whose flights land at gates 1-59, walk through security, past the food court to get to the atrium area.
The best options for traveling to the Caribe Royale Hotel are via shared shuttle van or by taxicab. Please see our airport information page for details.
Fitness Center
The Caribe Royale has a fitness center for guests aged 16 and older. Use of the facility is complimentary. Please note: The hotel requires that proper athletic shoes be worn by all guests who use the fitness center. Crocs, sandals, flip flops, single strap Velcro shoes, open toe or open heel shoes, ballet type shoes and hard sole shoes are not permitted.
Tennis
The hotel also has shared tennis courts on a first come, first served basis. Use of the courts is complimentary for guests of the hotel, no appointment needed. Rackets and tennis balls are available upon request for a nominal fee at the fitness center.
Basketball
The Caribe Royale has a full sized basketball court. The court is open to all guests on a first come, first serve basis. Basketballs are available for a nominal fee upon request at the fitness center for your convenience.
There is a SunTrust Bank branch in the Orlando International Airport (MCO), as well as a number of ATM machines. There is also a currency exchange in the main terminal (“landside”) outside security to gates 1-59, and one “airside” by gates 60-99.
There's an ATM in the Convention Center across from Carribean 1; the fee is $3.
