The Application ADs asked for a Security review of X.509 Authentication SASL Mechanism <draft-ietf-ldapext-x509-sasl-01.txt> before it was approved for publication as an Informational RFC. Steve to include a note requesting the RFC Editor to change 8000 samples per second to 8mbytes per second). 22. The IESG consensus was that Writing I-Ds and RFCs using XML <draft-mrose-writing-rfcs-00.txt> should be reviewed by the Poisson WG. Steve to notify RFC Editor. 23. Keith reported that discussions with the author of PNG (Portable Network Graphics) Specification, Version 1.1 <draft-randers-ng-spec-00.txt> have been initiated, but are still in progress. 24. Steve informed the IESG that the Action announcements from this telechat will not be posted until after all the Internet-Drafts announcements have been posted (i.e. not until the week just before the IETF meeting in Minneapolis). 25. The IESG did not approve draft-ietf-dnsind-rfc2052bis-02.txt as a Proposed Standard, as the APP ADs raised the following four points: o example of SRV for HTML is inappropriate as SRV is not defined for use with SRV o reference to BCP 14 should be to RFC 2119 o there needs to be a template which may be used to define application use of SRV o use of weight feature should be defined on a per-application basis Thomas will make note and discuss with WG.
