• Switch Configuration message (64) unchanged

• Port Configuration message (65) and All Ports Configuration message (66) generalised to non-ATM port types

• PortType concept introduced

  • Switch reports each Port's PortType attribute. So far:
    PortType = 0d01 = ATM
    

• PortType specific data space introduced

• Service Model data space introduced
