IETF 110: Technology Deep Dive on DNS, Part 2

This session was held 17:00-19:00 UTC on 4 March 2021 and covered, in detail, the operational realities and technical nuances of the Domain Name System, a central building block for today’s Internet.

The DNS - loosely coherent... and loosely defined... It follows on from the Technology Deep Dive during IETF 108, which provided in introduction to the technical design of the DNS. This session explained that we lied to you last time, that the real world is much messier than you'd ever imagined, and that there are many many lurking dragons.
